Small items that are intended for outside display: ideally under cover. They will require regular maintenence. Already treated with either Danish oil or good quality Decking oil, this should be applied two or three times throughout the year. As a natural product, it is always possible that wood may crack or split. This should be recognised as a posiblity of the medium used and differentiates it from mass produced resin ornaments.
Always have carvings standing on small battens to create an airflow underneath ..... it helps greatly.

The wonderful Quatt Farm Shop supports local crafts people so I am lucky to be close by. Located on the A442 about 4 miles south of Bridgnorth they stock some of my smaller carved items. Owls, dogs, fishing bears !! .... I would advise you to drop in when hungry.
